They ask how hot you want it when you order, I asked for it hot and it did not disappoint. So I'm sure they will make it as hot as you want.
3pm
Yes. They have multiple goat dishes on the menu
I think the food is fantastic.. I have tried something new each time and have always been very happy. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. It is one of my familys favorite spots.
Went mid afternoon with a friend, Had the buffet. Food was pretty good, service was not. Their was only one other table eating, yet when I ordered an iced tea, it took 20 minutes to arrive. Waitress never checked in on us entire meal. We had to go up and ask for the check. The place was also very warm...
The food is okay. I ordered goat for my husband and son and it was at least 50-60% bone. You have to pay for rice, which is silly, to say the least. I ordered takeout and instead of my side of rice I ordered, which was listed as “rice” on my receipt was replaced with the sweet memory rice which is a delicious dessert that I can’t put under my entree. The dessert I ordered was also replaced with a sweet rice. When I called about it to see if I could get plain rice which is what I paid for, the guy argued with me about it. He told me they substituted my dessert without notifying me because they were out-disappointing but I can live with that and the sweet rice is delicious anyway. More annoyingly, he tried telling me I ordered wrong while I was looking at my receipt telling him what I ordered. Instead of arguing, I opted to hang up. I have had poor customer service both times I have ordered here. The atmosphere inside is lacking.
Lots of food on the menu that you can't get anywhere else around. The food is great and the folks who run the place are very friendly. I look forward to returning to try more of their excellent dishes!
Tried to redeem a coupon, and the staff refused to honor it as it was written. Very disappointed.. and $4 to have rice with your meal?
Chicken Biryani good but for chicken, skin removed properly. It's embarrassing me while eating.
Pretty good takeout, I stop by every few weeks. As a sit down place the atmosphere is a little weak. Food is on par with any Indian restaurant I've been to.
Really enjoyed the lunch buffet. Good number of dishes to choose from and I enjoyed almost all of them. Service left a bit to be desired, but was friendly at least.
We are out of town and called in a takeout order. First of all I was given no total for the order when placing it over the phone. Secondly when we went to pick up our food the guy asked us if we wanted rice to go with it..rice is given to us automatically back home when we order takeout. When we got the food back to the place where we are staying it was horrible!!!! Watered down sauce, chicken had grizzle and a piece of bone. Don’t waste your time!
Go at lunch time for the buffet...service is terrible, so serving yourself is the way to go!!! You need this food in your life!!!! It's so good!!! You have to pay separately for naan, chutney etc, so it's a much better experience a when the buffet is served!!!
The varieties of different foods on buffet was great! The different flavors and sauces were just fantastic. And they say that it changes daily. I LOVE this place!
I'm torn because the food is excellent, but it was the worst service I have ever experienced. I never got to order my wine. Half of our table didn't get their rice or naan until the meals were 75% finished. I would recommend ordering to go food here and serve yourself at home
A good introduction to Indian food. Buffet with a few selections labeled to help one remember what they were. I choose lower 'heart's items, allow which were mildly seasoned.
Very authentic cuisine, menu offers many options for really getting a sense of what Indian food is all about. Staff was very friendly also. Will definitely go again.
No. No. No.I can’t believe anyone gave this an even average review. The naan was greasy, like it had been fried. The lamb roganjosh was so watery, it was like soup. In all fairness the butter chicken was edible, but we will never come back. The waiter asked how everything was and when we politely stated our dissatisfaction, he said nothing.and handed us the bill.
Great food. Easily one of the top places to eat in the area.
Delicious food buffet for lunch.
Food was very poor!. Got uncooked food especially chicken in chicken Tikka and pudina chicken Tikka. I am giving 2 star for lamb korma because of which we survived for the day.
Very good food. The wait staff was very helpful with making recommendations. Also, found out they have a lunch buffet.
Bad food got me and my wife very sick, not clean kitchen and owner's bad attitude. Will never go there again and they have mice problem. Please don't go and pay to get sick or poisoned in this scummy place that serves bad food. This place should close down and not allow to be opened again.Thanks.
Very good Indian cuisine. Fresh, hot and as spicey as you wish. Will come back!!
Excellent food, great price. Must go.
Went there by happenstance as every other restaurant was packed. Turned out to be a good thing, this place is somewhat a secret sitting back from the road behind a big chain chicken restaurant. The food was very good and our server explained well how spicy the food would be. For those that like spicy foods their menu has several levels of spiciness to choose from and the food is prepared to taste. Nice atmosphere as well with Indian music being played in the background during dinner.
Delicious! We went for the lunch buffet and were not disappointed. Get the mango lassi to drink, it is awesome!
This is really good, authentic Indian food.
We were greeted with a lovely smile and attentive service and the food was just as good. Fresh, well prepared, authentic and delicious. My wife from England agreed, saying it was as good as she could find anywhere at home where Indian food is available on every corner. Memories of India is my new go to restaurant in St. Joe
A pretty tasty Indian spot! The lunch buffet is awesome![Atmosphere]A pretty laid back and simple vibe. Has A LOT of booth seats and can probably seat 50+ but it's even more spacious than that. Doesn't have much "ambiance" or things to set any particular look or mood though. Overall the interior gets the job done, but isn't too impressive though.[Food]The food is really good! My wife's family is from Pakistan so I'm familiar with most of the dishes, and they're all pretty tasty. We went in during the lunch buffet and for $10 and its a really good deal[Overall]I recommend it. Definitely worth trying out because the food is tasty. The setting is pretty "blah" but at $10 for a delicious buffet Ill def be back :)
I'll never go back.
Ordered Chicken Tikka Masala-sauce tastes like gussied up Campbell's Tomato Soup. Naan, rice, and tamarind sauce were fine. Been to many, many Indian restaurants and the food here is not comparable. If you want delicious Indian food, go elsewhere. This is sub-par.
Great lunch buffet if you're short on time. Love the variety!
Delicious food, kind staff, down to earth setting. Open Easter, and until 10pm
Had a great dinner tonight, ordered fish pakora and chicken 65 and Tandoori Shrimp, and everything was prepared fresh and tasted great. Friendly service and clean facility. We would definitely go back.
Great taste.
A frequent delight. The dishes are always satisfying. The price is fantastic.
I have ordered carry out several times. The food is great, I've never had a bad experience. The decor and dine in experience is lacking.
I was asked what kind of rice I wanted with my dinner upon ordering. I was surprised to see when I got my bill they charged me $4.95 for the rice. They don't mention this anywhere on the menu. A side of rice doesn't exist. It felt like a total scam. Poor service, tables remained dirty and unbussed after people left the entirety of our meal. Food service took over one hour despite us being the only patrons dining in the establishment. Our table was sticky. Booths are very uncomfortable, the tables are too small and the booths are too wide. I'm 6'4" and had sit on the very edge of my seat to eat properly. The temperature was way to warm made the whole dining experience uncomfortable. The food is good though. Not worth the experience.
Delicious Indian lunch buffet. Have been a steady customer for 3 years and have never been disappointed.
Excellent and authentic. They now have a liquor license. Buffet is a great way to find out your food preferences. Service is OK to good. Clean. Sensational recipes. Korma is delicious. Flavors I am glad we can find in Southwest Michigan.
Went there today and loved it!!! Everything was reasonably priced and also the menu was full of choices. I’m only in town until Friday but I’ll definitely be trying to go again before I go :)
Very good Indian food, I will be back. Just a heads up, medium is hot.
Most of the food on the buffet was cold. I ate part of 1 item that was luke warm. When I asked for a discount, since I didn't eat much, I was told by the owner said they do not give discount! I will never go back!
The food is authentic and really good even though it looks gross. But the price for a buffet is about $13 per person. There is not much on the buffet so I thought it was priced high. But again tastes great.
Chicken tikka is very good. I did not like the biryani much. But that taste of tikka has overcome that. So, giving a good rating.
Great food! Did takeout, and was thoroughly enjoyed by family from 15-90 years old.
Really bad service the guy work in side he don't know how to talk to coustmer food is cold no profession no Appetizer served while waitingNo salad with food really rude service
Pretty decent place
Food took forever, service was dry, not very good
I was really excited to try this place but it wasn’t good at all and I’m really disappointed. I ordered Chicken tikka Marsala it was overpriced at $13 and didn’t come with rice or naan bread. It was also a very tiny portion that was 95% sauce with 4 tiny pieces of chicken. It honestly tasted like the seasoning in the ramen noodle packets. The customer service is extremely terrible. I don’t think I will ever go back there again.
We have a vacation home in St Joe and can't wait to get there so we can enjoy ourselves...thus always includes at least one trip to Memories of India. Great food! As a Brit, we have a lot of experience in Indian food and this restaurant would rival some of the best in the UK! Highly recommended.
